Send a Friend a Goat |
|
||
|
|
For three days in April, volunteers deliver baby goats to offices, clubs and staff
meetings to surprise friends, relatives and colleagues with a short visit. Donations
may be made to either send a goat to a friend, take a goat away or purchase “goat
insurance”. Surprise people, let them know you are thinking of them and raise funds for
Wishing Star! In April, 2008 over 120 goats were delivered, raising $19,000 for wishes. Read more about Send a Friend a Goat. |

Beyond the Wish Events |

Wish kids (past and present) and their families, volunteers, staff and major donors are invited to participate in events to promote connectivity and family support systems. These events provide uplifting experiences while building camaraderie and community partnerships. We provide them free-of-charge, whenever possible. | |

Should you be interested in connecting to a specific child, we are always looking for wish sponsors who are willing to underwrite the cost of a wish. Wishes vary from several hundred dollars to several thousands. Read more about Share-A-Wish. | |

Playhouse Raffle |
|

|
|
With the help of Clear Channel Radio and SullivanHomes, Wishing Star raffles a master crafted playhouse each October 31. Throughout the year, we arrive to community events with playhouse in tow. This provides great exposure for Wishing Star while raising funds. Read more about Playhouse Raffle. | |
