25th Birthday Celebration
We want to find you!
In honor of 25 years of putting smiles on children's faces, we want to reconnect with all our wish families. If you, or someone you know, has ever had a wish through Wishing Star Foundation, please get into touch with us.
We want to include your family in all our events and programs, through the 16 month celebration and beyond.
Silverwood Party a Splashing Success

Former and current wish families, volunteers and staff were on hand to have fun, share stories and eat cake to celebrate our 25th anniversary of making wishes. The day culminated with a ride on the train where rustlers "robbed" passengers all in the name of Wishing Star Foundation.
Thank you Silverwood Theme Park for hosting a wonderful event. We rekindled relationships and made some new ones too. Thanks to all 38 families who came out to support our 25th birthday kick-off event.
Robbing the Train for Wishing Star
When you ride the train at Silverwood, get ready for a good old fashioned train robbery.
You can support Wishing Star by giving up your pocket change. All change collected from
the train robberies throughout the 2008 season will be donated to Wishing Star to grant
wishes. In 2007, Silverwood donated $28,555 from robbing the train. Wow! Let's help
make it happen again.
Celebration in Boise

On Saturday, June 28th we
celebrated our 25 years of granting wishes in Boise.
We released doves at Stephen Guerber Park in Eagle. Id. Over 20 families were able to
participate in the release. The day was wonderful thanks to Food Services of America,
Fred Meyer, Washington Trust Bank, Cosco, Idaho Power and Boise Partnership Council
Members, Jeff Currie, Hali Laxdal, Ashley Talley, Michelle Edmonds and Eric Britson for
planning the event.

coverage of Boise Idaho News channel 6. Watch.
Wishing Star Foundation Turns 25 Years Old
For centuries, white doves have symbolized love, hope, peace, joy, and spirituality.
Special honorary people will be releasing a flock of 25 snow-white doves. These doves will soar in joyful celebration of the 25 years the Wishing Star Foundation has been touching the lives of Treasure Valley families.
