Chapter Meetings

The Spokane Chapter meets at 6 pm on the first Thursday of every month at the Wishing Star office located at 139 S. Sherman in Spokane. Please contact Bill at sandbwidrig@icehouse.net for more information.
 

Clear Channel Playhouse Raffle

The playhouse and Wishing Star volunteers will be at the following events to sell playhouse raffle tickets and share information about Wishing Star. Raffle tickets are $2.50 each and the playhouse drawing will be October 31, 2008.

To volunteer at any of the following events, email the event coordinator listed:

  • Kootenai County Fair, Sept
  • Fall Festival of Homes, Sept 27, Tracy
  • Corn Maze, October 17 18, 19, 24, 25, 26 at state line

Thank you Linda Schroeder for Quilts for a Cause

Thank you to all volunteers who helped staff a Wishing Star booth at the Farm Chick's Antique Show last weekend. The beautiful quilts Linda Schroeder made and donated to sell for Wishing Star raised nearly $1300 to help grant wishes.

We still have just a handful of one-of-a-kind quilts available to purchase. Stop by the Wishing Star office, 139 S. Sherman, to check them out.
