Annual Wish Family Christmas Party

December 7, 6:30 to 8:30pm
Magic Valley Mall in the Tilt

RSVP 208-410-0702

Our annual Family Christmas Party has become an event our wish families look forward to with much excitement. Thanks to the many sponsors, our families enjoy free game play, scrumptious cinnamon rolls, hot cocoa, gift baskets and a visit from Santa! The Magic Valley Mall generously donates the space after mall hours so it is an intimate time for our families and volunteers to get to know each other and reconnect.

We get quarters donated from local Magic Valley banks for our children to play all the games they can muster in two hours time! In 2007, Wells Fargo, US Bank, Key Bank, Zions Bank, Mrs. Powell's (rolls) and The Tilt (Jeff Egbert, manager) generously contributed to make the party a super success!

Sober Riders Donate to Local Wish Children

A huge thanks to the great guys in the Sober Riders MC Wood River Chapter!

President Shooter, Vice-President Smooch and the rest of their chapter donated $2,238 by raffling off a mini chopper that was generously donated at cost from G&L Wild Styles ATV's & Autos of Jerome.

Thanks to these giving hearts, Wishing Star will continue granting wishes to Magic Valley children. Smooch and Shooter expressed that the reason they chose our foundation over others was that "we are able to keep our hard earned money HERE in the Magic Valley to help local children."

Magic Valley Playhouse Raffle

Two year old Sadie of Twin Falls drew the winning ticket for Wishing Star's Playhouse Raffle on December 1st. For the second time, a grandma won the house for her grandchildren. Deb Magaw of Twin Falls was overjoyed and knew exactly what she was going to do. She plans on surprising her five grandchildren with it on Christmas morning.

A huge thanks goes out to the many generous Magic Valley citizens who bought tickets bringing this raffle total to $2,294.00! This amount will enable Wishing Star to continue their cause right here in the Magic Valley of granting wishes to children who are fighting life-threatening illnesses.

We want to specially thank those who made this raffle possible and successful. DL Evans Bank and MIX103 DJ Jeff Edwards. Thanks go out to Copy Pro for our beautiful posters and Everybody's Business for selling tickets and of course, to the following contractors.

Estate Homes, Zambezi Group, Prudential Idaho Homes & Properties, Home Pro Framing, Steve's Quality Electric, Finish Pro, Rocky Mountain Drywall, Snake River Glass, Clavele Insulation, Top It Roofing, Classic Siding, Aaron Gallegos Stucco, Sawtooth Door, Extreme Woodworking, Wilson Bates, Lighting Concepts, and most of all to LeRoy Atwood!
