Christmas Program
During the Christmas season, we invite
sponsors to adopt one of our wish families who may need extra help during this time of
year. Gifts are purchased by the sponsor for each member of the family. The Wishing Star
Foundation's Christmas Program is an extension of the wish process and one where the
help of the community is essential. This program is very important to many of our wish families who may not have a Christmas without the generosity of others. This truly becomes a magical gift giving and receiving time for our sponsors and our wish families.
In the past two years over 160 families have been helped throughout our service area. You can sign up at any time of year to become a Christmas sponsor. You can choose the family size which you want to sponsor. If you do not have the time or are unable to shop for the wish family, you can donate to this program. Wishing Star has volunteers who will do the shopping for you.
