Wish children wait to be paired...

Behind every child's fulfilled wish is a volunteer whose energy and persistence has made it happen. We are looking for people to meet and build relationships with children with life-threatening illnesses. These volunteers build relationships with wish families and hopefully remain friends forever! While building the relationship volunteers determine the most empowering wish for the wish child, then work to grant the wish. This is one of the most important and touching roles you can play at Wishing Star.

We need conductors now. Contact Sarah, 744-3411 to learn more or sign up for the next training. You might think you're just doing this for others, but you'll receive so much more in return.

Folks from Payne Financial Group skipped a busy work day to help clean up our new storage space at Wishing Star, in October's Payne Community Day.

We got a good day's work out of them and the space finally started showing signs of organization.
